Concept project
Maiznīca Rīts: concept
The brief
A small bakery in a Vidzeme town. Regulars order by phone and messages, and the owner loses track at the busiest hour. The goal: a shop where customers pick loaves and pastries, choose pickup or a parcel locker, and the order arrives as one clear email.
What we had to work with
- About 40 products, with photos that vary in quality.
- Fresh goods: pickup times matter more than shipping speed.
- Latvian only, with a clean path to add English later.
- The owner packs orders herself, so the order email must be printable.

Design decisions
The grid shows price and size on the card.
Nobody should open a loaf to learn what it costs.
Pickup is the default, parcel locker is the option.
It follows how the bakery really sells.
One order email, written to be printed.
Items, pickup time, name, phone. Nothing else on the page.
Built static. Checked on a phone. Accessible to WCAG AA.
