4. Payments
Card details you type in the checkout are processed in your browser only. We do not receive, store or log them. At present, the card option on this site is a demonstration and no real card payment is taken. If you choose bank transfer, we invoice you by email and you pay through your own bank. If we add a payment provider, we will name it here before it goes live.
5. Who receives your data
We share personal data only with providers who help us run the site and the business, and only as far as needed:
- our hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs;
- our email provider, which delivers messages sent through the site and by us;
- Google Ireland Limited, for Google Analytics 4, and only if you accept analytics cookies;
- our accountant and tax authorities, where the law requires it.
These providers act on our instructions or under their own legal duties. We may also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires.
6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Where a provider, such as Google, processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, for example the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or its standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 12 months after our last message, then deleted.
- Orders, invoices and payment records: as long as accounting and tax law requires, generally five years.
- Records of your cookie choice: 6 months.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Server logs: kept for a short period, normally no more than 30 days.
8. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data; correct it; have it erased; restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect what was done before). To use a right, write to support@yourwebsdesigner.com. We reply within one month.
9. Complaints
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, please write to us first so we can put it right. You may also complain to the Latvian supervisory authority, the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv, or to the authority in your own EU country.
10. Security
The site is delivered over HTTPS. Forms are validated on the server and protected against automated abuse. Access to personal data is limited to what the work needs.
11. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and local storage. How they work, and how to change your choice at any time, is explained in our Cookie policy.
12. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you on the site.
