Terms of service
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. Who provides the services
The services on yourwebsdesigner.com are provided by yourwebsdesigner (“we”, “us”), Jaunā iela 30, Limbaži, Limbažu novads, LV-4001, Latvia. Email: support@yourwebsdesigner.com. Phone: +371 6402 8793. Office hours: Monday to Friday 8:00–18:00, Saturday 9:00–16:00, Sunday closed.
2. Using these terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this site and to every agreement we make with you for web design, development, care, SEO and speed work, or brand identity. “You” means the person or business ordering. A “consumer” is a private person ordering for purposes outside a trade or business. A “business client” is anyone else. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
3. Services and packages
Each service page lists what a package includes, the number of pages, the delivery time and the price. What is listed is the agreed scope. Work outside that scope, such as extra pages, extra languages or new features, is a separate item and is added only with your agreement and at a price we give you first.
4. Prices and VAT
All prices are in euros. VAT is not charged. If this changes, the price shown in your cart before you order is the price you pay. Prices for add-ons are shown per page or per item as marked.
5. How an order is made
You choose a package and add it to the cart, enter your details, choose a payment method and confirm. The agreement is made when we confirm your order by email, which we aim to do within one business day. Until then, we may decline an order, for example if the request is outside what we offer. If we do, we refund anything you have paid.
6. Payment
- Projects of €500 or more: 30% at order, 40% when you approve the design, 30% before launch.
- Items under €500 (such as a one-language landing page, an audit, a logo kit and add-ons): the full price at order.
- Care plans: the first month at order, then monthly by invoice.
- Payment methods: card, or bank transfer against an invoice. Invoices are due within 7 days unless the invoice says otherwise. For a bank-transfer order, work starts when the first payment arrives.
- We may pause work if an instalment is overdue, and we will tell you before we do.
7. Delivery and approval
We give you a delivery estimate for every package. The dates depend on you supplying texts, images, access and feedback on time. If you are late, our dates move by the same time. We show you the design before the second payment, and the whole site before the final payment. The site goes live when the final payment is made.
8. What we need from you
You provide accurate information and the materials we need, and you confirm you have the right to use them (texts, photos, logos, trademarks). You are responsible for your own content. We may decline to publish material that is unlawful.
9. Ownership and rights
When the project is paid in full, you own the design and the files we made for you, and we give you a licence to use anything we created for it that cannot be transferred. Third-party material, such as fonts, stock images or software libraries, stays under its own licence, and we tell you which ones apply. We may show the finished site in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
10. Website care plans
A care plan runs month to month. You can cancel any time before the next billing date, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. Included edit hours are for that month only and do not carry over. Scope per plan is shown on the service page.
11. Domains, hosting and third parties
Domain registration, hosting and payment provider fees are paid by you to those providers unless we state otherwise in your order. We are not responsible for outages or changes made by third-party providers, although we will help you deal with them.
12. Cancellation and refunds
How you can cancel, what is refunded and the consumer right of withdrawal are set out in our Refunds and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.
13. Our responsibility
We carry out the work with reasonable skill and care. We do not promise search rankings, traffic, sales or enquiries, because these depend on factors we do not control. For business clients, our total liability for a service is limited to the price paid for it, except for intent or gross negligence, and except where the law does not allow a limit. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Latvian or EU law.
14. Consumer rights and complaints
If you are a consumer, you have the rights the law gives you, including for goods and services that are not as agreed, and a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, explained in the Refunds and cancellation policy. Please send complaints to support@yourwebsdesigner.com and we will answer within 14 days. You can also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs), www.ptac.gov.lv.
15. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy policy. Our use of cookies is explained in the Cookie policy.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. We try to settle disagreements by talking first. If that fails, the courts of Latvia decide, except that a consumer may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where they live, and mandatory consumer protection in that country continues to apply.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The terms in force on the day of your order apply to that order.
